Zenato Academy al Centrale Festival di Fano

Friday, 11 June 2021

Zenato Academy's initiatives continue as it is invited to participate in the series of events on photography and contemporary art Centrale Festival, curated by Luca Panaro and Marcello Sparaventi and hosted at the historic Rocca Malatestiana in Fano (June 11-27, 2021).

On display will be a selection of works from the photography exhibition "Wine. Beyond Objects" realized with students from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan: Giacomo Alberico, Cecilia Del Gatto, Alessandra Draghi, Cesare Lopopolo, and Anna Vezzosi.

During its first ten years, Centrale Festival has welcomed established artists within the international art scene and presented them to the public through an intense program of debates, conferences and round tables. Exhibition venues have strongly characterized the exhibition programming, particularly involving some of Fano's historical spaces, such as the Rocca Malatestiana, which has become the symbolic place of the event. With the eleventh edition the formula has been renewed, from 2019 in fact Centrale Festival opens to young international artists Under 30 selected through Open Call, thus underlining the will to broaden the interest and to pursue emerging research in close connection with contemporaneity.
