Three Solo Exhibitions on the Occasion of ArtVerona 2025

On the occasion of ArtVerona, the fair dedicated to modern and contemporary art, from 9 to 12 October, Zenato Academy presented three solo exhibitions curated by Luca Panaro. These exhibitions reflect the different facets of the project and its commitment to promoting photography, moving images, and art publishing.

The exhibitions were hosted in a newly restored exhibition space returned to the public: Silos Levante at the Santa Marta complex in Verona.

The exhibition “Sole Pioggia Vento” by Julia Carrillo is the result of an artist residency held annually at the Zenato winery. It features a series of off-camera photographs created by bringing into the darkroom natural elements observed among the vineyards of Valpolicella and Lugana. The exhibition “Sotto il silenzio del tempo” by Dario Picariello, on the other hand, stems from the enhancement of works acquired in 2024 during the first edition of the Zenato Academy Prize at ArtVerona. A selection of representative works by the artist was presented, distinguished by a strong installation component. “Spazio parallelo” by Lu Yidan draws the audience’s attention to a photograph acquired during the fifth edition of the Zenato Academy Prize at The Others Art Fair in Turin, accompanied by others from the same series depicting landscapes suspended between reality and fiction, challenging common visual assumptions.

With these three exhibitions, Zenato Academy reaffirms its commitment to supporting and promoting talented young artists who explore hybrid languages within the broader context of contemporary art.
