At The Others Fair, the Zenato Academy Prize Awarded to Annalaura Tamburrini

On Friday, October 31, during the 14th edition of The Others Art Fair in Turin, the Zenato Academy Prize for Contemporary Photography was awarded to Annalaura Tamburrini (Fasano, 1994), represented by Crumb Gallery in Florence, for her photograph “Danza miope cyano #2” (2025).

The jury—composed of Luca Panaro (Artistic Director of Zenato Academy), Lucia Benedini (for the Zenato winery), and Lorenzo Bruni (Artistic Director of The Others)—selected the young artist’s work for its contemporary use of the analog cyanotype technique. Through this practice, Tamburrini explores life, experience, and her personal vision of the world through water, presenting a series of bodies floating in the sea as if suspended in a muted, hushed silence.
